ABOUT THE INDY

The College Hill Independent is an alternative weekly newpsaper written, designed and illustrated by Brown and RISD students for the Providence community. It’s existed since 1990.

We publish ten issues per semester, on ten Thursdays. 2000 copies/issue means 20,000 copies/year, which makes the Indy the second largest weekly newspaper in Providence. The Indy is printed in Seekonk, MA by TCI Press.

Letters to the editor are always welcome at theindy@gmail.com.

All submissions become property of The Indy. An editorial or blog post that appears without a byline represents the views of The Indy. Any other column, letter or image is the work of the attributed author and does not necessarily represent the views or opinions of The Indy.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE

The Indy welcomes all contributions (words, images and letters). If you’re looking to join our editorial staff, you can download the editor application from our website at the end of each semester. We also host an information session / new writers meeting every September and January; all are encouraged to attend.
